2nd post: Rebuttal..

1]
reason: it is stimulating..
rebuttal: I could name several board games that are stimulating not only to the mind but the body as well. Scrabble for instance, is a game that you can play if you want to unwind(if you're not too lazy to come up with words, that is). You get to expand your quite limited vocabulary plus you can do it while lying down..convenient,right?

2]
reason: the adrenaline rush feels good..?
rebuttal: Duh!If its adrenaline rush you're looking for, sign up for the disaster response for this month's social involvement activity. The experience will no doubt leave you with the adrenaline rush that is surely MORE THAN what you bargained for.

3]
reason: the brain gears are set to work
rebuttal: You want your brain gears set to work? Flip through the pages of advanced algebra books and look for the most complicated and eye-crossing mathematical problem. Not only will your brain gears set to work but you'll also get a nosebleed as an added bonus.

4]
reason: it broadens your intellectual capacity
rebuttal: The acquisition and expansion of knowledge can be achieved in the simplest, most basic way: READING. It can bring you to places you've never heard of and meet people you never thought existed. Reading is a perfect way to obtain ideas and to broaden your intellectual capacity. Thus, debating isnt necessary.

5]
reason: you get to exercise your freedom of speech
rebuttal: You want to be heard? Join and write for your school paper. Let your voice be heard through your pen, after all: the pen IS mightier than the sword!

6]
reason: English gets to be your language medium..for 7mins at least
rebuttal: Advanced as we are in the technology department, all you have to do is look for a foreign chatmate who speaks english and 'Tadaa!', you get to speak english to your heart's content. What's more? Your grammar doesnt have to be perfect!

7]
reason: it's liberating!
rebuttal: A prime example of liberty is the tradition of the U.P. students wherein a number of the male population go around rallying...naked! Now THAT is liberating!
